AMAZING QUALITY, INCREDIBLE VALUE, THE WARMEST OF WELCOMES

For golfers aged 28 & over you can join our club as a full 7 day member for less than £13.50 per week. Enjoy our fabulous course, excellent practice facilities, well appointed locker rooms and, of course, our clubhouse catering and bar (where you will receive a members discount of 15% on your bar bill ). Golfers under 28 will pay a lower fee which is tiered from as low as £183 dependant on age and all the benefits mentioned in this summary will apply.

In addition, we have made arrangements with Ashton under Lyne and Marple Golf Clubs that mean our full members can play these courses absolutely free of charge 6 days a week all through the year. They are excellent courses and, as a Withington member, you will be made very welcome. We believe this will add significantly to the value of your Withington membership with typical savings on green fees of £20/£25 per round for 2 super courses which you can play free of charge as often as you like.

Our PGA Professional Steve Marr, who has been with us for 15 years , has coached golfers of the calibre of Major champions such as Zach Johnson and Inbee Park. If you're new to the game or a competent golfer already Steve will be delighted to offer you teaching at extremely favourable rates should you wish.

Finally, we can say without fear of contradiction that Withington is the friendliest ,most welcoming club you will find. We'll help you from day 1 to get the very most from your membership with a fantastic ' Welcome to Withington ' introductory pack and, should you need it, an offer to help you get a handicap quickly and easily.

Ladies Golf Academy

Join us for our Ladies Golf Academy in March - more details are available here.

The Club has been registered under the UK Government’s Community Amateur Sports Club Scheme (CASC) since 2010. Our primary purpose is to promote the playing of golf, with membership and facilities that are open to all without discrimination. We welcome all sections of the community.
We are confident that our fee structures represent the very best in class in the South Manchester region. We offer reduced membership fees for juniors and students, as well as six day membership and a range of pay and play discounts over the year (including during evenings and weekends). In general, therefore, our costs do not create a barrier for members of the community.
Revised CASC regulations operable from 1st April 2016 requires clubs to make provision for those people who wish to become a member and are unable to afford to pay more than £520 (including costs associated with membership). As such, we will discuss six-day membership directly, and in confidence, with anyone who wishes to join but is on a low income – please contact the Secretary.
